Where it all began
I never planned to become a mortgage broker. Like many good things in life, it happened unexpectedly. After being made redundant over ten years ago, I found myself stepping into the world of financial services. something I’d never imagined doing. But here I am, and I wouldn’t change it.
I started my career at a large Building Society, and while it gave me valuable experience, I quickly realised the corporate world wasn’t for me. Everything felt impersonal. Clients were treated like numbers, and there was no room for real relationships or understanding the people behind the applications. It was all about ticking boxes and that just didn’t sit right with me.
For me, this is about so much more than paperwork or percentages. It’s about people. It’s about your journey. Whether you’re starting out or starting over, buying a home is a big deal and how you get there matters. Everyone deserves the chance to own a home if they want to, and I’m here to help make that possible.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked with first-time buyers, home movers, company directors, and landlords. I’ve helped people through divorces, new beginnings, and everything in between. I take the time to listen, to understand what’s important to you, and to find solutions that genuinely fit — not just on paper, but in real life too.
